It’s so disturbing to hear about incidents like what happened to Keion McKinney. The fact that it was a targeted attack really makes you wonder about the story behind it. I can't even imagine what his family must be going through, trying to make sense of this tragedy. It's also chilling how things took a similar turn with Joshua Holland just two weeks later. How do two unrelated individuals end up being linked to the same suspect? It makes me question whether there was more going on beneath the surface or if there were other influences bringing these incidents together. My heart goes out to both the McKinney and Holland families. I hope the trial brings some solace and justice to everyone affected. Sending love and strength to the community dealing with these unimaginable losses.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about how close-knit communities like Severn can sometimes overlook signs that might indicate something is wrong. Keion McKinney's murder happening in such a familiar and presumably safe place—his own backyard—really hit home for me. It's so unsettling to think that someone could have waited for the perfect moment to strike when Keion just stepped outside. I can't shake the thought of how vulnerable he must have felt in those last moments in a place he undoubtedly considered a sanctuary. Surely someone outside or even a neighbor might have seen someone lurking around or acting suspiciously but didn't think much of it at the time. It's moments like these that make me wish communities were even more vigilant, especially when something feels off. My heart truly goes out to Keion's family and friends. I can only imagine the difficulty they're going through, knowing someone targeted him yet perhaps had no real reason we know of.
