I’ve been following Carlos Segura III’s case since it first broke, and I can’t stop thinking about how tragic it is that yet another vibrant young life has been cut short. What really struck me was the fact that he had just gotten his driver’s license. It’s that time in life where everything starts to feel possible, and you’re just beginning to map out your future. Carlos had dreams of becoming a mechanic, which speaks volumes about his character and work ethic.
It’s tough to think about how his family must be coping right now—they had to have been so proud watching him grow. It’s essential that anyone who might have any information, no matter how small it seems, gets in touch with the authorities. This family deserves answers, and more importantly, they deserve justice. It's vital we all come together as a community to support them during this unimaginable time.
Hi everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Carlos Segura III, and one thing that strikes me is how his entire future was suddenly stolen. From what I've read, Carlos was a passionate young man who was gearing up to start his junior year and had dreams of becoming a mechanic. It's devastating to think about all the potential and aspirations that have been cut short.
I feel deeply for his family, especially his mom, who only hours beforehand saw him as just another teenager heading out with friends. It's so surreal how life can change so rapidly and in such an unimaginable way.
I’m curious about the area surrounding the incident. Does anyone here live near or know what Lebanon Street is typically like in Langley Park? Is it known for having any issues, or was this shooting out of the ordinary for that neighborhood? I’m hoping that more locals will come forward with information that could help bring some closure and justice to Carlos and his loved ones.

To be honest, it baffles me. I've been following to see any updates on the victim. I don't know if the hospital has any cameras at the drop-off in the ERs. I wonder if Carlos was with his friend, like his mother said. His friend literally dropped him off at the hospital door and dipped. Wouldn't they try to find the supposed car of the friend? Another thing, Carlos is from Onley, MD. This means he and his friend drove almost 30 minutes to that specific neighborhood.

Either he had family in the Langley Park area or friends that he could've have known in sometime of his life. Cause if you live in Langley Park. You know one thing there's nothing interesting there. There's no mall in area unless you go to PG Mall. Others stores just more focused of the people in the area, which is alot of ethnic stores.

Its a Hotspot in crime. If you look up Langley park,MD there's articles of crime that has happened in the area. Most people who are not from the area don't tend to be there beside the horrendous roads. People there are too themselves, afraid that the person they could be talking to have connections to the local gang members. I'm thinking it was weed deal gone wrong or a out of schoolyard confrontation that went south.
