I've been following Ceaira Jackson's case and one thing that's been on my mind is the location of the incident. Pennsylvania Avenue is such a busy part of town and it's just disconcerting to think that something like this could happen in such a populated area. It's scary to realize how gun violence can seep into the everyday lives of so many people, regardless of where they are. I can't stop thinking about Ceaira's family and how they're dealing with such a senseless loss. I hope that anyone with knowledge of what happened finds the courage to speak up. This city needs justice for Ceaira.
