I've been thinking a lot about the incredibly brave actions of Alberta Irene Walsh's son on that tragic day. It's hard to imagine how a 6-year-old could have the presence of mind and courage to not only find help for himself but also ensure the safety of his little sister by getting on his bike and seeking assistance. In a moment of complete shock and fear, he displayed such profound bravery. I hope he knows how strong he truly is, even after all these years. It's been decades, and I often wonder how Alberta's children have coped and grown up after experiencing such a traumatic event so young. The ripple effects on families in these cases are immense and long-lasting. Sending love to her family, hoping that one day they find the answers they deserve and some semblance of peace. If anyone has more information about any efforts currently being made to solve this case, or if there are any community initiatives in Alberta's memory, I'd love to hear about them.
