I’ve been following the Jeremy Wilkes case, and something that really stands out to me is how domestic violence situations can escalate so rapidly. It's chilling to think about how an argument between Jeremy and Kerri Jo Stevens could end up in such a tragic loss of life. It seems to be a stark reminder of the dangers that can arise behind closed doors. From what his sister Jamie Hill said, Jeremy seemed to be a good-hearted man who loved his kids deeply. Losing someone like that to violence is incredibly difficult for any family. I truly hope that by raising more awareness around domestic violence and offering support to those in such situations, we can prevent more senseless acts like this in the future. Sending all my thoughts to Jeremy’s family and friends during this time. It’s crucial that communities come together to support one another and be vigilant.
