I’ve been following Jermaine Wherry’s case closely and can’t shake the profound sadness it brings. I didn’t know Jermaine personally, but seeing the community rally around his family and hearing about his life makes this tragedy feel so real. A lot of people in Tulsa are concerned about the spike in violence, and sadly, we see too many stories ending like this. Jermaine’s family deserves answers and closure. The lack of an announced motive is puzzling and leaves me wondering what on earth could have led to such a senseless act. Was there a personal connection, or was it something more random? It’s frustrating to think these questions might remain unanswered for a while longer. Hoping that anyone with information will step forward. Meanwhile, my heart goes out to Jermaine's wife and children—can’t imagine what they’re going through right now.
