I’ve been thinking about the friends and family of Alyssa Ann Longwell and how they’ve been living with this nightmare from the beginning. Losing someone in such a violent way is unimaginable, and then having to go through months of trial proceedings must have been incredibly taxing. I can’t help but wonder how they’ve managed to cope during this time, especially now that the trial is over and Potter has been sentenced. Do you think this verdict will bring them any peace or closure? I'm hoping they have a strong support system and can find some moments of peace while navigating life without Alyssa. Sending love and strength their way.
I've been thinking a lot about the role witnesses played in Alyssa Ann Longwell's case. It’s chilling to imagine being there on Badger Mountain Road and witnessing such a horrifying event. The bravery it must have taken for those individuals to stand up and report what they saw is commendable. They've undoubtedly helped bring justice to Alyssa and her loved ones. To think that without their account, perhaps the outcome of Dalton Potter's trial might have been different. It's moments like these that remind us of the importance of speaking up, no matter how daunting it may feel. My heart goes out to Alyssa’s family and friends; may they find some comfort in knowing that those witnesses played a crucial part in ensuring justice was served.
