It's devastating to think about how Brenda Matchett's life was cut short in such a senseless manner. I've been staring at the street view of South 277th Street and Green River Road South, trying to comprehend how such a peaceful location could be the site of something so tragic. It's unnerving to consider how vulnerable those encampments are, especially for people like Brenda who are already facing so many challenges. The mention of a wooded area near where the shooting took place really strikes me. I can't help but wonder if that's where the shot came from. Could it have been an accident, or was someone intentionally aiming for that area? It seems random, but definitely leaves me puzzled. My thoughts go out to Tabby and the rest of Brenda’s family—they must be going through so much pain and confusion, especially given the circumstances. I hope they get the answers they deserve soon.

Hey everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the location of where Brenda Matchett was living at the time of her death. It’s so disturbing that her RV was parked near the 277th Street Corridor Trail, a place that many people probably pass by without a second thought. Given that the area has a mix of foot traffic and is somewhat remote, it feels like it could be a risky spot, especially at night. I can't help but wonder if the lack of security and lighting in these kinds of areas makes it easier for crimes to occur unnoticed. People living in encampments often don’t have a choice in where they stay, and it seems like the system continually fails to provide safer options for them. These are people who deserve to feel safe, no matter their circumstances. My heart goes out to Brenda’s family, especially knowing that she tried to shield her daughter before being tragically caught in the gunfire. It makes me so angry that homelessness and similar issues keep exposing vulnerable individuals like Brenda to such danger. Curious to hear if anyone else is familiar with the area and if there have been any other incidents around the trail?
