I'm really feeling for Antonio Carrasco Jr.'s family right now. This must be such an unimaginable time for them, losing a loved one so suddenly and violently. It's a real concern how gang activities infiltrate small communities like Sunnyside. While it's reassuring that there's no ongoing threat to the public, Antonio's murder is proof that these issues are very real and close to home for many. I have to ask, what drives someone to help another evade law enforcement, especially in such serious circumstances? Ann Marie Melendrez is now facing serious charges for allegedly assisting Julian Castillo. I can't wrap my head around that kind of decision-making. It's disheartening to see how people can be pulled into situations that not only put themselves at risk but also obstruct justice for a grieving family. I truly hope the authorities can apprehend Castillo soon and bring some sense of closure to those who loved Antonio. Let's hope truth and justice prevail in this tragic case.
