Hi everyone, I'm really feeling for Erica Jordan's friends and family right now, especially knowing that children were present during such a traumatic event. It really gets to me how these situations can escalate despite attempts to seek legal protection. I keep wondering about the systems in place that are supposed to prevent these tragedies but sometimes just don't seem to work. With James having violated the protection order before, it makes you question how he managed to get hold of a gun. Shouldn't there have been more intervention after his previous arrest? This case is a stark reminder of the systemic flaws that can sometimes fail victims. My heart goes out to those kids and the entire family. I really hope this sparks some change in how protective measures are enforced. Sending positive thoughts to all affected.
