Has anyone else noticed how often custody exchanges end up becoming dangerous situations? It's absolutely terrible what happened to Kayla Vallee. As a mom, I can't even begin to imagine what she went through during those last moments. She was just trying to do what's best for her child, and it cost her everything. The system really needs to reassess how these exchanges are handled. Maybe implementing more neutral venues or having law enforcement present could help prevent such tragedies in the future. My heart goes out to Kayla’s family and especially her son, who now has to navigate life without his mother. It's a pain no child should endure. Does anyone here live near University Place? I heard about the vigil—was it as moving as people say?

I wanted to bring some focus to the community support in the aftermath of Kayla Vallee’s tragic passing. It's truly moving to see how many people have come together to honor her memory and support her family through this unimaginably difficult time. The vigil held on December 16th really stood out – it was not just a gathering, but a testament to how much Kayla meant to so many. Friends, family, and community members all shared beautiful memories and stories about her, painting a picture of a loving mom and kind friend taken far too soon. I've been thinking a lot about how important these community bonds are, especially in the face of tragedy. They remind us of the strength in unity and the power of collective love and support. For anyone else going through something similar, it’s worth reaching out and leaning on your community. If there's anything positive that can be drawn from such a heartbreaking event, it's the reminder that no one has to face it alone. My heart goes out to Kayla's loved ones.
