Has anyone else been thinking about the location of where this tragedy happened? It really got me thinking about how such a senseless act occurred just steps away from a university campus. This should be a place bustling with students celebrating the holiday season, not a scene of crime. It’s incredibly distressing to think of Corey’s life ending so abruptly and on a day that’s supposed to be filled with joy and togetherness. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are left grappling with this loss during what should have been a time of celebration. Seeing incidents like this unfold in areas meant to be safe havens makes me wonder what more can be done to protect our communities and prevent such tragedies.
