Maegan Hembree, a 30-year-old woman from Smyer, Texas, was last seen on February 26, 2013. She left her home around 6:30 p.m. in a red 1999 Saturn to visit a friend's house in Lubbock but never arrived. Later, her car was found in the possession of Michael Todd Ramsey, a man she had known for a couple of months and the last person seen with her.
Although Ramsey became a person of interest, no charges related to her disappearance have been filed, and he was later incarcerated on unrelated charges.
Hembree was described as standing 4'11", weighing around 140 pounds, with brown hair and green eyes. On the day she disappeared, she was last seen wearing a gray and purple hoodie with "Jimi Hendrix" printed on it, along with jeans or pajama pants and sneakers. She also had several distinctive tattoos, including a Houston Astros star on the back of her neck and a butterfly on her right shoulder.
