I've been thinking about the tragic loss of Brent Parrilla and it really strikes me just how vulnerable we all are in everyday situations. Being at a gas station, something most of us do without a second thought, suddenly turned fatal for him. It's terrifying to consider. I can't imagine what Brent's family and friends must be going through, knowing that a seemingly ordinary night ended so horribly. I'm grateful the police have a suspect in custody and I hope it brings some comfort, though I know it won't ease their pain. If anyone is in the Seattle area and had any information—no matter how small—I hope you'll reach out to authorities. Anything might help bring them closer to justice for Brent. Keeping his loved ones in my thoughts.
