It’s so distressing to hear about the incident involving Xavier and the rise in juvenile homicides in King County this year. I’ve been following the case closely and am curious about the connection between the two groups involved. Does anyone have any insight into whether they were known to each other prior? Could this have been a planned confrontation, or did it escalate unexpectedly? It’s terrifying to imagine the fear and confusion in those moments, not only for those directly involved but also for nearby residents and passersby. I hope the police gather the information they need soon. Sending love and strength to Xavier’s family and loved ones during this incredibly difficult time, and wishing for the healing of those injured physically and emotionally.
Does anyone know if there have been any community gatherings or vigils planned in memory of Xavier Landry? I feel like showing support and standing together could be really important right now. It's so important to remember Xavier as more than just a statistic in this troubling trend of juvenile homicides in King County. My thoughts are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. If anyone hears about any events or ways to support the family, please share. It's heartbreaking to see another young life lost so senselessly.
Hey everyone,

I can't stop thinking about how senseless this is. I was reading about how investigators found 19 shell casings at the scene. It makes me so upset to think of the number of shots fired in what seems to have been just a confrontation gone horribly wrong. How did it get to that point? It's distressing to imagine the chaos that must have unfolded in those moments and the fear Xavier and the others must have felt. Those involved, especially the young ones, must have been absolutely terrified.

It's also concerning that, as of now, there hasn't been anyone arrested or even identified. I hope that with the evidence gathered, the authorities are able to piece together what occurred and find those responsible. My heart goes out to Xavier's family and friends. He was so young and had his whole life ahead of him, and it's just so unfair that this happened.

If anyone else is watching this case closely, do you think the community or local organizations are doing enough to address the increase in juvenile violence in King County? I'm curious to hear other folks' thoughts on this.
