Has anyone else been following the Flores tragedy in Cincinnati? I can’t stop thinking about the role that domestic violence played in this heart-wrenching incident. From what I've read, it sounds like both Eric and Rodrigo were caught in a horrific cycle of violence for so long. It's just gut-wrenching to think about how much pain this family suffered, and how it seemed to spiral out of control. Why aren’t there more resources for kids in situations like this? We often talk about the importance of mental wellness, but I feel like the system is failing families when it matters most. My thoughts are with their loved ones who are dealing with yet another unimaginable loss. I hope this can spark more discussions around supporting families before they reach such breaking points.
