It's been a rough few months for everyone who knew Aaron. I keep thinking about how his story took such a dramatic turn with the recent news. It's hard to grasp that the only person brought to justice for taking his life was sentenced to just 5 years. I mean, is that really enough for the life that was lost? Our justice system often seems so confusing and frustrating. I came across the detail about a police pursuit involving Davis. It sounds like something out of a movie, doesn't it? But these are real lives we’re talking about, real people affected. I've been wondering if there’s more behind this chase that hasn't been disclosed. Maybe it’ll help us understand why this senseless act happened. Anyone else feel like there might be more pieces to this puzzle? My heart goes out to Aaron's family and friends during this time. It's important for us to keep shining a light on his story and keep the conversation going about how we can reduce gun violence in our community. We owe it to Aaron and so many others.
