Hey everyone. I've been thinking a lot about the role of gatherings in our communities and how they should be spaces of joy and togetherness, not places where tragic incidents like Jordan Edwards' death occur. It's so upsetting to see a promising young life cut short because of senseless violence during what should've been a happy occasion. I can't imagine what his friends and family are going through right now, and my heart truly goes out to them. It makes me wonder what more can be done to ensure safety at these kinds of events. Maybe there needs to be better planning or security? I'm definitely not an expert, but something has to change. I hope the community can come together to find solutions and prevent this from happening again. Sending love and strength to all those affected by this tragedy.
