Has anyone else been following the case of Jeffrey Allen III's murder at the DMAX plant? I'm still trying to wrap my head around the terrifying fact that a weapon was smuggled into the workplace. It makes me think about the safety measures—or apparent lack thereof—in factories like these. Clearly, there's more that needs to be done to protect employees. My heart goes out to Jeffrey's two kids, Ny’Raih and J’Air. Growing up without their dad, who was such a vibrant part of their lives, must be incredibly tough. It's gut-wrenching knowing that this started as a workplace argument and spiraled into something so devastating. Anyone else here working in similar environments worried about the security or had your companies take action after such incidents? I hope DMAX has since improved its security protocols.

Has anyone else been following the impact statements given by Buke Allen's family at the hearing? I just read about how his brother Jiger talked about Buke as a protective figure who looked out for everyone around him. It really gave me a sense of how loved and respected he was by his family and friends. I can't imagine the pain they're still going through. It's touching to see them speak so highly of him and the positive influence he had. This tragedy has deeply affected a lot of people, and it's so important to remember the human side of these stories. Sending thoughts to his family, especially his kids. It must be incredibly difficult for them to grow up without their father, someone who seemed to be a real guiding light for so many.
