I've been following the tragic news about Jeremy Black and Kayla Coleman, and it's truly devastating for the Toledo community. I’ve been thinking a lot about how gun violence impacts the families left behind, especially Jeremy’s son, Carter. Losing a parent in such a violent manner must be incredibly difficult. I can't imagine what he's going through right now. It breaks my heart to see another child growing up without a father, and it really makes me reflect on how these acts of violence ripple through families and communities. My thoughts are with Carter and the entire family during this painful time. I sincerely hope the Toledo Police and community members can work together to find whoever did this, and that justice will be served for both Jeremy and Kayla.
