I’ve been following the tragic case of Rayshawn Akins Smith, and my thoughts are with his family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I can’t even begin to imagine the pain they are experiencing. One aspect I've been pondering is the community response and the collective need for healing. In situations like this, it seems crucial for neighborhoods to come together to support one another. I read that there's been some talk of organizing vigils or community meetings in Garfield Heights to honor Rayshawn and the others affected by the shooting. Does anyone know if these events have been scheduled yet? It seems like acts of solidarity could really help to promote healing and raise awareness about the ongoing issues of gun violence that have been plaguing Cleveland. Community support could be a powerful tool in tackling the root causes of such violence.
