I keep thinking about the impact Douglas Palmer Jr.'s loss has had on his community and his family. It's so terrible to think about someone so young and full of potential being taken away like this. I've read about Douglas's ties to the Cincinnati area and how he was really active in his high school community. It's clear he was loved by many. The fact that there was an arrest made in this case is a relief, in a way, but it doesn't even begin to make up for the pain his family and friends must be feeling. I really hope justice is served, and this brings some sense of closure, if that's even possible. His family has shown so much strength through all of this, and I hope they're finding the support they need during such a difficult time. Anyone else following from Cincinnati or know more about how his high school is remembering him?
