I'm really saddened by what happened to Charles Cooper and his family. It's been over a decade, and the thought of his case still being unsolved must be such a heavy burden for those who loved him. I keep hoping that someone, anyone, will remember something that could break this case open.
I recently read about how crucial the initial hours after a crime are for collecting evidence and getting witness statements. It got me thinking about the challenges the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office might have faced back then, especially with witnesses possibly hesitant to come forward. It's tough to imagine the frustration that must linger for both investigators and the family.
Does anyone know if any new technologies have been used recently to try and dig deeper into this case? Like, forensic advances or even re-interviewing possible witnesses with updated techniques? It's just hard to believe that nobody has come forward with any solid leads after all these years. I sincerely hope justice will one day be served. My heart goes out to Charles's son.
Hello everyone,

I keep thinking about how witnesses might hold the key to solving the tragic murder of Charles Cooper. It’s troubling to me that, despite the incident happening on July 2, 2007, in a seemingly populated area, there still haven't been significant leads. I wish people felt more comfortable coming forward. I understand fear can keep someone silent, especially if they worry about their safety, but maybe someone will eventually find the courage. Charles had a young son who deserved to grow up with his father by his side, and it's hard knowing that finding his shooter could bring some peace to his family.
Has there been any talk about whether local organizations or community leaders are trying to engage with the public for more info? Sometimes, it seems like trusted community figures can be a bit more effective in coaxing details out, especially when there is distrust with law enforcement.
As always, I'm sending thoughts and strength to Charles’s family and friends in Jacksonville. Let’s hope for a breakthrough soon.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Charles Cooper's case for a while now, and something that really stands out to me is the impact on his son, who has to grow up without his father. It's hard not to think about how much of a profound loss this is for such a young child. Charles was barely an adult himself when his life was cut short, and now there's a little boy left to navigate the world without him.
I just can't wrap my head around how someone could do this and leave a family with so many unanswered questions. It seems like the Jacksonville community really came together initially, but it’s so frustrating and sad that they haven’t been able to find the person responsible. I sincerely hope that someone with information finds the courage to come forward, not only to bring justice for Charles but also for his son, who deserves to know the truth. It’s just a gut-wrenching situation all around, and this child deserves a chance to know what happened to his father.
Wishing strength and peace to Charles’s family and hoping for a breakthrough in this case soon.
