I keep thinking about how close-knit communities like Winton Hills are and how the loss of Earl Hunter must be affecting everyone around him. It’s devastating when violence erupts in neighborhoods where people are just trying to live peacefully. Twelve shell casings… it’s hard to wrap my mind around the fact that someone felt the need to fire that many shots. It makes me wonder what was going through their mind or if this was a spur-of-the-moment act. If anyone locally knows anything, even the smallest detail, it could really help the police. I heard once that even the smallest tip can crack a case wide open. And every day the family is left without answers must feel endless. My heart goes out to them, and I hope someone speaks up soon so they can find closure and justice.
