Has anyone else been thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on the employees and customers who were present that day at the Giant Eagle? I can't even begin to imagine the trauma they must be going through. You're just going about your day, shopping for groceries or maybe heading to work, and suddenly, everything is turned upside down by such a horrific event. I really hope that they're getting the support and resources they need to cope with witnessing such a devastating situation. It's important that they know the community is behind them, too, and that it's okay to seek help and talk about what they experienced. Thinking of Susan's family and friends during this time, but also want to remember those who were there that day and might be struggling with the aftereffects of all this.

I've been reflecting a lot on the impact this tragedy must have had on Susan's coworkers at Giant Eagle. I can only imagine the shock and trauma of witnessing such a horrific event. It's a reminder that the ripple effects of violence stretch far beyond the immediate family. I hope that the employees who were there receive the support and counseling they might need to process what happened. It's devastating to think about people coming to work on an ordinary day only to be met with such terror. Let's keep them, as well as Susan’s family, in our thoughts. This entire situation has left me thinking about Susan's partner, Daniel Chelednik. After 20 years together, I can't imagine the void left by such a sudden and tragic loss. Couples like them often build their own world together, with routines, inside jokes, and shared dreams. Now, Daniel is faced with an unexpected reality without her. It's a stark reminder of how precious and fragile life can be. I hope he finds the support he needs from friends, family, and the Olmsted community during this incredibly tough time. This event has shaken all of us, and it’s important that we come together to honor Susan’s memory and support one another. Sending strength to Daniel and Susan’s loved ones.
