Hey everyone. I've been following Robert Blackstone's case, and I can't stop thinking about how unfortunate it is that this senseless tragedy happened. Just learned that Blackstone was remembered as an artist—something that really resonated with me. Although I didn’t know him personally, reading about his life, it sounds like he brought a lot of joy and beauty to those around him. Such a loss of talent and humanity. It’s encouraging to see the community come together to discuss safety and crime prevention, but I can’t help but feel how sad it is that it took such a tragic event to spark these conversations. I'm hopeful we can somehow turn this pain into positive change for Dayton and that Robert's legacy continues to inspire people to appreciate the beauty in everyday life. Thoughts and support go out to his family and friends. Anyone else here following the impact this is having on the local art scene? Would love to hear some thoughts.
