It's just so hard to wrap my head around the fact that a promising life like Kyle Jackson's got cut short over a senseless act of violence. What strikes me the most is how Kyle, even in a crowd, seemed to embody a sense of peace, trying to walk away from trouble. It's tragic and almost ironic how this very trait, likely meant to protect him, couldn’t shield him that night. I can't imagine the mixed emotions Kendra, his mother, must be enduring—grief intertwined with an astounding capacity for forgiveness. Her strength and her son's commitment to avoiding confrontation speak volumes about the kind of values Kyle was raised with. I hope the community can embrace her and the family in this difficult time and rally to support the investigation. Surely, someone out there knows something that could help bring closure and justice. Let's continue to keep Kyle’s memory alive by fostering the positive influence he was known for.
