I can't wrap my head around the tragic events that took place in Lake Township. Like many of you, I've been reading about the Dunham family, and it's just so hard to comprehend such a loss. I recently came across a piece about the scholarship fund they've established, and it really hit me. It’s a small glimmer of hope in this awful situation. Melissa and Jason Dunham's surviving family stepping up to create something positive out of such heartbreak is truly commendable. For those of us following the case, it’s a reminder that even in the darkest times, there are ways to support and uplift a community. My heart genuinely goes out to everyone affected by this tragedy—especially the kids' classmates and friends. I hope this scholarship helps in some small way to honor and remember the young lives lost, while also providing future opportunities for students at Lake High School. Anyone else here from the area or involved with the school? I’d love to hear more about how the community is doing and how we can perhaps support or contribute further.
