Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about the neighborhood where Troy Adkins was found. It's so unsettling to hear New York Avenue and Kensington getting mentioned in the news for something like this. Anyone local knows that spot and probably drives by it often, which makes it all the more real and terrifying. I can't even imagine what Troy's family must be going through, knowing their son was last seen in a place many of us pass by daily. ?
Have any of the long-time residents shared how they feel about safety around there lately? Was it ever a good or quieter place in the past, or has it always been a bit dicey? I'm just praying that the community speaks up if someone saw or heard anything that night. We all need some answers, and maybe if we shed light on the area's issues, it'll help prevent another tragedy like this.
I just wanted to share some thoughts on the tragic case of Troy Adkins. Has anyone else been really struck by the location where his body was found? I mean, New York Avenue is a fairly busy area, right? It just seems odd that no one saw or heard anything. I feel for Troy’s family and friends, who must be desperate for answers. It's hard to imagine such a horrible thing happening and there being so little information. Could it be that the shooter knew the area well and chose that spot for a reason? I hope someone comes forward with information soon. Keeping Troy’s loved ones in my thoughts as the investigation continues. ?
Has anyone heard anything new about Troy Adkins' case? It’s been weighing on my mind, especially with how the community has come together to show support for his family. I've read about a vigil the community held, and it’s clear Troy was loved by so many. It’s truly devastating to see his family go through this without any closure. I wonder if any local businesses have surveillance cameras that might’ve captured something that night. It feels like any small detail could make a world of difference right now. If anyone knows of any efforts to collect footage or if there are community meetings, please share. We're all hoping for answers and justice for Troy and his family.
