I keep thinking about how Sarah had just returned to work and her benefits hadn’t kicked in yet. It's so unfair that on top of everything, her family is now facing this immense financial burden. In situations like these, it always feels like there's a need for more support systems to jump in quickly when families are struck with such unexpected tragedies. There should be temporary relief funds or something for families who suddenly lose a breadwinner, especially with five children involved. It's appalling that they have to worry about money when they should be focusing on healing and justice for Sarah. My thoughts are with her children and family. They deserve so much more support right now.
