Just watched the latest news segment on Anthony Elliott’s case and I couldn’t help but think about the ripple effect his death has had on his school and community. Anthony seemed like one of those kids with a bright future ahead, and I can only imagine how his classmates and teachers must be feeling as the school year resumed without him. It’s troubling that it’s been almost a year with no arrests. I keep wondering if there’s someone out there who knows more than they’re saying. How many graduations and basketball games will pass before there’s any closure? To all his friends and family, my thoughts go out to you. I hope for justice and mourn alongside you.
