I'm still in disbelief over what happened with Ramon Ross, or "Mone" as many of us knew him. It's hard to wrap my mind around the idea that an argument could escalate to such an irreversible outcome. Mone always seemed like the kind of person who valued community and understanding; the fact that things ended this way seems so contrary to who he was.
For those of you who might not know, Mone was not just another face in the crowd. I remember attending one of his family gatherings in Maple Heights years ago. His energy was infectious – you could tell how deeply he cared about bringing people together. Just thinking about the loss for his family and friends is overwhelming. No one deserves to have their life cut short over senseless violence like this.
I'm just hoping that someone who knows anything will step forward. It’s crucial that we have some sense of justice for Mone and ensure his story gets properly told. My thoughts are constantly with his family who must be going through unimaginable pain. If there’s any way the community can come together to offer support, let’s try to make it happen.
