I was reading through some threads and what struck me was how young Angel was and her dream of becoming a veterinarian. It’s incredibly painful to think about how she was just at the beginning of her journey, surrounded by people who loved her at Horizon Science Academy. The way her classmates and teachers describe her warmth shows how much she brought to their lives in her short time. It’s haunting to know that a promising future full of potential love and kindness can be cut so tragically short. Feeling for her friends and teachers who must be grappling with this unimaginable loss every single day. Just unimaginable.
I still can't wrap my head around the tragic loss of little Angel Lyn Isaac and her family. Reading about her dreams of becoming a veterinarian and her love for the color pink just breaks my soul. I didn't know her personally, but I can only imagine how her school community at Horizon Science Academy must be grappling with this loss. It seems like she touched so many lives with her joy and enthusiasm for life.
Remembering that Tyler Young had a history of domestic violence and was dealing with mental health issues like paranoid schizophrenia makes me wonder how things might have turned out differently if support systems had intervened earlier. It's clear we need to take mental health and domestic violence more seriously as a society to prevent such tragedies. My thoughts go out to Angel's friends, family, and everyone affected by this unthinkable event. Let's hold our loved ones closer and ensure they have the support they need in difficult times.
