Was anyone else struck by how quickly the community rallied around Shawn Overly after the news broke? It’s evident he was deeply loved and cherished by those who knew him. It’s such a testament to the kind of person he was—talented, kind-hearted, and genuinely impactful in his community. His social media was flooded with tributes and memories shared by friends and clients, and it's clear he touched so many lives through his art and friendship. I’ve been following the case since it happened, and while it’s a relief to hear that there’s been an arrest, I can’t shake the feeling of loss and confusion. I can’t even begin to imagine what his family and close friends must be going through right now. They deserve all the support we can offer, not just now, but as they continue to navigate this unfathomable loss. Sometimes it feels like understanding the ‘why’ of it all might help in some way, but maybe some questions remain unanswered forever. Sending strength to everyone involved.
