Hey everyone, I've been following the case of James Cockrell and something I can't shake is how tragic it is that this happened on Christmas Day. A day that's supposed to be full of joy and togetherness, and yet this family was met with such a devastating loss. It makes me think about the kind of person James might have been – did he have any holiday traditions he looked forward to? Was he the kind of guy who went all out for the celebrations, or maybe he kept things simple but meaningful with his close ones? I just feel for his family and friends right now, having to face such a grim reminder of their loss each year. This time of year will never be the same for them, and I’m hoping they find some form of peace or comfort somehow. Does anyone know if the community is organizing any sort of vigil or memorial event other than the funeral? It would be nice to see some collective support for those grieving right now. Let's keep James and his family in our thoughts as more details emerge.
