I've been following the case of Todd Weiland's tragic death in Licking Township, and something that's been on my mind is the impact this must be having on his family and friends. It's just gut-wrenching to think about how they must be dealing with the suddenness of it all, especially with the holiday season so close to the incident.
From what I've been able to gather, Todd was known around Newark and had a good reputation — folks who knew him spoke highly of his character. It's hard to wrap my head around the senselessness of this tragedy. I truly hope the investigation sheds more light on what happened and brings some form of closure to those who were close to him.

Has anyone looked into Richard Kreager’s background? It's so unsettling to think about how someone can have such a troubled history and end up being involved in a case like this. I did some digging and found that he's got quite a list of past offenses. It makes me wonder, why was he even out in the first place, and how did he have access to weapons? I feel so sorry for Todd's family and everyone affected by this tragedy—everyone deserves to feel safe, and it's just alarming to see yet another incident involving someone with a criminal past. There's got to be more accountability somewhere, right? Hoping for justice for Todd and some peace for his loved ones.
