Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Damien Bonner's tragic passing, and I just can't stop thinking about the community impact. I live not too far from the Avondale neighborhood and just wanted to express how deeply this incident has shaken us all. The sense of safety feels a bit more fragile now, and it breaks my heart to see how violence has taken someone who seemed to be well-loved by those around him.
I didn't know Damien personally, but seeing the outpouring of support from his friends and family at his visitation and funeral speaks volumes about the kind of person he was.
