Has anyone else been following the case of Rodrick Herman Phillips? The part that really stands out to me is how quickly law enforcement managed to apprehend Mar'Shawn Johnson despite him fleeing to another state. While it's relieving to know that Johnson is off the streets, I keep thinking about Rodrick's family and what they must have gone through during those months of uncertainty. I can't imagine the pain of losing a loved one so suddenly and then having to endure the wait for justice. It's a stark reminder of how life can change in an instant.
