I've been following the case of Bunion Jermaine "Slim" Way for a while now, and something that really gets to me is how little information there seems to be about the night he was shot. It's so disheartening to think that after all these years, his family still doesn't have the closure they deserve. I can't imagine the pain they've been through, wondering if they'll ever find out who was responsible. It's admirable how Project Cold Case keeps his story alive, but it also highlights just how many families are in the same position, waiting for that one piece of information that could make all the difference. If there's anyone out there who knows something, no matter how small it might seem, please consider coming forward. It's never too late to do the right thing and help bring peace to both his loved ones and the community as a whole.

Has anyone here followed the details surrounding the murder of Bunion Jermaine "Slim" Way? I can't stop thinking about his family and the immense pain they must still be going through. What truly breaks my heart is that the case remains unsolved after so many years. Having grown up in a community where such violence leaves scars, I know the importance of not letting these cases get cold. It seems like Project Cold Case and the Jacksonville Sheriff's Office are doing everything they can, but they really need the community's help. I want to believe that someone, somewhere, knows something that could tip the scales in this investigation. Even the smallest detail could make a world of difference. If anyone out there has any information, I urge you to come forward, even if it's anonymously. Doing so could bring comfort to Slim's family and help prevent another family from suffering similar grief. My thoughts and prayers go out to the Way family in hopes they find the closure they deserve.

Hey everyone, I've been reading up on Bunion "Slim" Way's case, and something that's really struck me is how connected he seemed to be in his community. From what I've gathered, he was known and loved by many in Jacksonville, and it's truly tragic that his killer hasn't been brought to justice after all these years. It seems like such an injustice not only to his family but also to everyone who cared about him. I often wonder if there were any witnesses who might be afraid to come forward, or maybe there's someone out there who silently knows more than they're letting on. The fact that Crime Stoppers allows for anonymous tips should be a reassuring option for anyone hesitant to speak up. I can't imagine the pain of not having closure, and it's important we keep talking about cases like Slim's. Hopefully, more awareness can stir something in the right direction. Would love to hear others' thoughts, especially if you knew him or have any insights into the recent efforts by Project Cold Case or the local law enforcement. Sending love to his family and friends. Stay safe, everyone.
