I wanted to take a moment to reflect on Jerry Spencer's wonderful personality, as I've seen mentioned by many who knew him. It breaks my heart to think that someone so dedicated to bringing joy and humor into the lives of others met such a tragic end. His knack for making people laugh even during tough times seems to have touched so many.
What's also notable is his skill set—his abilities in carpentry and auto mechanics. Many people may not realize how invaluable it is to have someone in your life who can fix just about anything. Jerry was that go-to person for his family and friends and, from what I gather, never hesitated to lend a helping hand. It's just so surreal that a person like him, who had so much to offer his community, was taken under such violent circumstances.
I hope justice is served swiftly, but I also hope that Jerry's legacy of kindness and service continues to inspire us. If anyone out there has information, however small, please help his family find peace. My deepest sympathies to everyone who loved and was loved by Jerry. May you find some comfort in the memories and the impact he had on all of you.

I can’t stop thinking about the vibrant community Jerry was a part of and the outpouring of love at his funeral service. I’m new here, but I attended Faith Temple Church of God a few times with a friend and remember Jerry always being the life of the gathering. His kindness was evident, and he had this knack for making everyone feel welcome, even if you were just visiting. It's truly devastating that he’s been taken from us so tragically.
The vibe at his funeral on March 9th was a testament to the impact he had on those around him. Even those he hadn’t seen for a long time showed up, sharing stories of how Jerry touched their lives. There’s such a void without his jokes and laughter. It’s important that we continue to keep his spirit alive and support each other through these tough times.
I really hope someone out there will come forward with information to help the police. Jerry didn’t deserve this, and his family deserves answers. If anyone has memories or thoughts to share, this commemoration can help us remember the joy he brought into our lives.
