Has anyone else been following the Michael John Fons case? I can't stop thinking about the peculiar location where his car was found. The China Wall OHV staging area is pretty remote and not somewhere you'd expect anyone with serious medical conditions to end up, especially in pajamas. Given the terminal illness and confusion he was experiencing, it's puzzling why he'd drive out there in the first place. The car having its flashers on suggests he might have been trying to signal for help. I wonder if he could have been disoriented and thought he was driving somewhere familiar but ended up there instead. Still, no sign of him after all this time? It seems like there should have been something, right? Has there been any speculation or new insight on why he might have chosen that specific spot? ?

Just stumbled across the case of Michael John Fons, and there's something that's really puzzling me. Why would someone who's easily confused due to a medical condition end up in such a remote location by themselves? It seems like a very unlikely place for someone in his condition to go deliberately. Was there any possibility of someone else being with him or helping him out there? It’s strange that his car was found with the hazards on but no trace of him anywhere. The fact that such an extensive search didn’t turn up anything is just baffling. Especially since search teams used dogs and even helicopters. Would love to hear your thoughts or if anyone has any ideas on why he might have driven there and what could have happened next.
