This case is just so tragic. I can't wrap my head around how an argument over something as simple as food could escalate to such a devastating outcome. It’s like we keep seeing these totally senseless acts of violence, and it just leaves everyone with so many questions. It's hard not to think about LaShawn's family and how they're dealing with such an unimaginable loss. Having to say goodbye at a funeral is something no family should have to do under these circumstances.
I hope this community continues to send love and support their way. Maybe sharing memories of cheerful times or how LaShawn positively impacted the lives of those around him could help his loved ones just a bit. I've been thinking a lot about LaShawn Roby's case, and something that really keeps me up at night is the idea that a simple dispute over food could escalate into something so tragic. How did things go so wrong that morning near BB's Humble Kitchen? It's just so devastating to know that a life could be cut short over something seemingly so minor.
LaShawn was so much more than this incident. A loving father and son, from what I've gathered reading through some of his friends' social media posts. The way people who knew him speak about him, it's clear he made a positive impact on many lives.
It's hard to comprehend how his loved ones must feel, having lost someone so central to their lives so senselessly. Sending all my thoughts to his family during this unimaginably difficult time.
