I was just thinking about how traumatic this must have been for the students at Withrow High School who were at that graduation party. Celebrating such a milestone in their lives and then having it end in tragedy must be incredibly hard to cope with. Some of these kids probably knew Lamon from kindergarten. It's unimaginable to try to process losing a friend in that way, right when they're all supposed to be looking toward their future with hope. I also can't help but wonder what was going through the minds of the police officers when they arrived at the scene earlier that night. To them, it might have looked like just another teenage celebration, but the fact that it escalated so drastically is terrifying. It just shows how unpredictable things can be, even when everything seems calm on the surface. I hope whoever is responsible is found soon so the community and Lamon's family can start to heal.
