I can’t stop thinking about Demetrius Terrell Fain and the impact his death has had on our community. It's such a devastating loss for those who knew and loved him. I remember hearing how he was always the one to lend a helping hand or share a laugh when someone needed it most. It’s unfathomable thinking about how suddenly and violently he was taken from his family and friends. I drove by the 3300 block of Reading Road recently, and seeing the impromptu memorial with flowers and candles felt incredibly heavy - you could just feel the love and pain from everyone who's stopped by to pay their respects. It’s important for us to keep talking about this and keeping the momentum going to ensure justice is served for him and those who are suffering from his loss. If anyone has information, even the smallest detail could make a difference. Let’s make sure his story isn’t forgotten and let's come together to help his family find some form of closure. Demetrius deserves justice, and I hope his loved ones find the answers they so desperately need.
