I'm new here but have been following the Shantell Augustus case since it happened. I haven’t seen much discussion regarding the role of public CCTV footage in this investigation. Given that the shooting occurred in what I assume is a fairly busy area, I'm wondering if there were any surveillance cameras nearby that might help pinpoint the events leading up to that tragic day.
In so many cases, video footage can be the crucial piece to bring perpetrators to justice. It just seems peculiar that we haven’t heard anything about it, especially since it's been a little while since the event. I really hope law enforcement is leveraging every tool at their disposal to identify who did this and ensure justice for Shantell and her loved ones.
