Hi everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Elijah Stewart, and something that's been on my mind is the impact of gun violence in communities like Euclid. It’s troubling to see how this senselessness affects not only the immediate victims but their entire communities as well. Elijah was so young, with a life full of potential ahead of him, and it’s devastating to witness another promising life cut short. I’m curious to know more about the efforts local organizations might be putting into addressing gun violence and supporting families affected by such tragedies. Has anyone come across initiatives or groups in the Euclid area that are stepping up in response to this case, or similar ones, to provide support and promote change? We often talk about finding justice for victims, but part of that, I believe, is also preventing these horrific events from happening to others. Any insights would be appreciated. Sending a lot of strength and love to Elijah’s friends and family during this unimaginable time. Stay safe, everyone.
