I came across Robert Dowda's case while scrolling through missing persons updates, and something that really sticks out to me is the lack of surveillance footage mentioned. It's 2023, and we don't have any CCTV or anything? Memphis is a decently sized city, and you'd think there'd be more coverage from the places he might have been on that day. I'm not pointing fingers at anyone, but it just seems odd that there's no mention of it in reports. Could it be that the footage wasn’t reviewed, or is it possible the places he visited had no cameras or the footage got erased? Honestly, even a little info from that kind of source could be a game-changer, either confirming where he was last seen or leading somewhere new. Has anyone else noticed this lack of info on his movements before he went missing? Maybe someone local can chime in on the coverage in the area where he might have last been.
Has anyone looked into the areas around Shelby Farms Park where Robert might have been last seen or had any connections? It's such a vast space and could easily be overlooked in the search. I know the news mentioned some of his favorite hiking spots but not sure if there was any confirmed sighting near there. It's been frustrating to see so little progress, and every bit of information might help bring him back to his family. If anyone local has seen any search efforts happening around there recently, please share. Keeping Robert and his family in my thoughts.
Has anyone else noticed the lack of media coverage on Robert Dowda's case? It's been over a year since he vanished from Memphis, and I feel like the story has just faded away. I understand that not every case gets the same attention, but it's frustrating when a missing person just drops off the radar. What more can be done to keep cases like Robert’s in the public eye? His family deserves answers, and it seems like constant public pressure might be one way to keep the investigation active. Anyone have ideas or similar experiences with other missing persons cases? Let's brainstorm ways we can help keep Robert's case alive and support his family in their search.
