I keep thinking about the location where De'Ablo Simmons was shot—right near the intersection of West 28th Street and Detroit Avenue. That area in Ohio City sees a lot of foot traffic and has always had a mix of vibrant nightlife and local businesses. It’s unsettling to think about how easily something like this can happen in a place so familiar to many of us. It makes me wonder how many people were possibly around when this tragedy happened and if someone saw something that could help the investigation.
I grew up not too far from there, and I know it can be a thriving spot, but it's also had its share of troubles. My heart goes out to De'Ablo's family and friends. I can’t imagine the pain they’re going through now, especially with so many questions still unanswered. I hope those who might have witnessed something come forward because every little detail could make such a difference in solving this case. Let's keep his loved ones in our thoughts and do what we can as a community to support them during this incredibly tough time.
I can't stop thinking about how devastating this must be for Deablo's family and friends. Losing someone to such senseless violence is beyond comprehension. I came across a post mentioning that Deablo was well-loved in the Ohio City community, known for his kindness and genuine spirit. It breaks my heart to think about the pain his loved ones are going through right now. The fact that no arrests have been directly linked to his case as of yet leaves so many unanswered questions. My thoughts are with his family at this difficult time, and I hope they find some peace and justice soon. If anyone has any updates on how the community is coping or any memorials being planned, please share.
Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of Deablo Simmons, and something that's been on my mind is the role the community can play in situations like these. I noticed that after the shooting, the Cleveland Police Department offered tips for public safety, which is a good step, but I can’t help but feel there’s more we can do collectively to prevent such tragedies.
The Ohio City neighborhood is known for its vibrant community, and incidents like this can really shake everyone up. As we remember Deablo at his Celebration of Life ceremony, maybe it’s also time to come together and talk about how residents can support each other better. Whether it’s neighborhood watch programs, community discussions, or just checking in on our neighbors, every small effort can make a difference.
My thoughts are with Deablo’s family and friends during this incredibly difficult time. I truly hope his memory inspires more unity and peace within the community. If anyone else has ideas or suggestions on how we can all come together to make our neighborhoods safer, I’d love to hear them.
Stay safe, everyone, and let’s look out for each other.
Sending love and strength.
