I can't stop thinking about the terrifying moment witnessed in that hotel lobby. Umedjon was just doing his job, probably gearing up for another routine day, when his life was tragically cut short. My heart goes out to his family and friends who are left grappling with this unimaginable loss. It's surreal to think that a seemingly normal interaction at the front desk escalated into such a tragedy. I stayed at a La Quinta once, and it’s always felt like a welcoming place—can’t imagine walking into that lobby knowing what happened there. It’s haunting to think of everything being captured on surveillance. With De'Sean Buckner's arrest, I hope justice will be served, but I wonder what could have possibly motivated this senseless act. Does anyone know if they had any sort of relationship prior to that day? It's hard to wrap my head around it all.
