Hey everyone, I can’t stop thinking about the impact this tragic incident had on the local schools nearby. It must have been terrifying for the students and staff at College Hill Fundamental Academy and Aiken High School to go into lockout mode, not knowing exactly what was happening just a block away. I’m thankful for the prompt response from school officials to ensure everyone's safety during such a chaotic situation. It really shows the importance of having effective emergency procedures in place. My heart goes out to Danias’ family and friends during this unimaginably difficult time. Even though these measures were only temporary, I can't imagine the fear that must have spread through those communities as they waited to learn more. I hope they find peace and comfort knowing that the community is standing with them and the authorities are working hard to find answers. Has anyone heard if there have been any updates from the police or any community initiatives started in his memory? I think the more we can do to support the family and raise awareness, the better. Stay safe, everyone. Keep looking out for one another.
